This class cycles through different exercises as the reps ascend in numbers and then descend back down. This form of training helps to build strength and muscular endurance as well as taxing your cardiorespiratory system. You’ll need some light to moderate weights (dumbbells) and you’ll probably want to have your mat available.

2022.06.03 Cardio Burn

Where fitness meets dance! This class will take you through songs that will have you burning calories and toning muscles. Cardio dance moves, body resistance, and dumbbells are used to target and fatigue different body areas. Each song has its own dedicated routine – at first, it’s all-new but as you learn the routines, the workout intensifies and the hour flies by. If you have access to a lighter pair and a medium pair of dumbbells, make sure you have them for this class as we dance and workout with some great tunes.

This Resistance Training Class is all about muscle burn and muscle fatigue. We will use dumbbells, resistance bands, barbells, and bodyweight to push the limits of our muscular strength and control. When we strengthen our muscles we are helping protect and maintain our body’s muscle mass, improve our bone health, decrease fat within our bodies, and help improve our quality of life. If you have access to pairs of dumbbells in multiple sizes/weights, make sure you have them for this class. Make sure you have your mat handy, too.
